英国媒体报道，中国电信业巨擘华为寻求与英国首相约翰逊会面，希望就推迟潜在移除其在英国5G网络的设备达成协议。

据英国《星期日泰晤士报》报道，华为希望英国潜在有关的行动可推迟至2025年6月大选之后，以此期盼新政府或撤回移除其设备的决定。
报道称，若英国政府能应允推迟行动，华为将承诺维持其在英国2G、3G及4G网络的设备。
英国政府此前表示，将要求电讯商在2025年前，移除5G网络中所有由华为供应的设备。
