前青年及体育部副部长沈志强响应减少外出，通过网购平台买菜，他鼓励民众在行动管制令期间，可选择网购替代方式买菜，尽量留在家减少染病风险。

沈志强也是大山脚国会议员，目前人在大山脚的他，在脸书专页发文说，今早（22日）通过脸书网购蔬菜平台”Veggie Kingdom” ，购买到大山脚市区巴刹的新鲜蔬菜。
“不去巴刹，可以网购蔬菜，减低你、菜商和其他购物者感染新冠病毒的风险，我们健康，其它人也健康。”
他在贴文中呼吁民众不要顽固地聚集在巴刹，若巴刹因此被迫关闭，将导致大家都无法买到东西。
