交通部长陆兆福鼓励地方上大小商家使用电子钱包，以免与时代脱节，无法同步做年轻人的生意。
陆兆福也是芙蓉国会议员，他周六早上在森州芙蓉公市推介E-wallet无现金交易仪式后，在记者会上表示，他之所以选择在芙蓉公市推介这项仪式，希望公市也能跟上世界潮流。
他表示，政府于《2020年财政预算案》拨款4亿5000万令吉，以便所有年收入未达10万令吉的民众都可获得30令吉电子钱包。
“这项优惠从1月15日开始，为期两个月。”
他表示，Touch n Go、Boosh，以及Grab Pay是政府合作的3间电子钱包公司，鼓励更多人使用电子钱包，以便经济运作更有效用。

他说，芙蓉公市每逢周末和周日都是游子与外地游客踏足之地，所以他特别鼓励公市小贩使用无现金交易，以便跟上时代步伐。
他表示，无现金交易的使用，可减少顾客等待时间，小贩也减免找换零钱的时间。
他表示，相信未来两三年无现金交易将成为主流，届时就算不想使用无现金交易的小贩也得被逼学会使用。
