12月30日是梅艳芳去世16年的日子，袁咏仪在微博晒出梅姑的旧照悼念，她发文写到：“梅姐！在远方的你，好吗？想你”，这也是袁咏仪连续第9年发文悼念。
梅艳芳生前和袁咏仪交情深厚，两人因合作《金枝玉叶2》等多部影片结缘。
