纽约商品交易所2月交付的黄金期货价格下跌20美仙或0.01%，闭市报每安士1464.90美元。3月白银期货价格上涨4.6美仙或0.3%，闭市报每安士16.642美元。
美联储将从周二开始召开货币政策会议，周三宣布会议结果并发表声明。RBC Wealth Management公司常务理事乔治格洛表示：“未来两天内，美联储会议将使金价陷入僵局。虽然更多消息尚未出炉，但对于长期投资者而言，现在基本上没有抛售黄金的理由。”
他在每日研报中判断：目前黄金价格在1450美元至1500美元的范围之震荡，但看起来“很快就会上涨”。
