从2021年1月起，18岁以上的国人和企业实体将获分配一个税务识别码（TIN）。
财政部长林冠英说，为了确保这项倡议顺利推行，政府会在2020年首季开始，与利益相关者商议交流。

另外，他也宣布明年起正式落实数码服务税。

他说，所涵盖的服务包括但不限于下载的软件、音乐、视频或数码广告，外国服务供应商可从2019年10月1日起向大马皇家关税局注册。
