据沙地阿拉伯国营电视台报道，也门什叶派叛军青年运动袭击马里卜（Marib）一个军方训练营地，导致至少60名军方人员死亡及数十人受伤。

报道指，有关袭击事件是于周六（18日）发生，遇袭军营位于也门首都萨那东面约115公里。
报道也指出，青年运动以弹道导弹及无人机施袭，造成大量人命伤亡，伤者获送院抢救，不过获伊朗支持的青年运动并没有即时承认责任。

也门国内局势平静数月后，早前沙地支持的政府军在萨那东面加紧打击叛军，双方共有至少22人丧命，令局势突然升级。双方上周六又在荷台达港口南面交火，酿成7死，包括2名平民。
