【可实行的实用指南如下】
1. 把电源关好，拔下插头，防止电流继续流掉；
2. 为了安全也为了防止偷窃，可考虑使用计时器，让电灯无需24小时亮着。

3. 确保全部插座状况良好，且不会承载过量的转接器。
4. 确保必须插着插头的电器处于良好状况。

5. 把延长电缆的电线完全松开以避免电线过热；以及
