通丹的后代首次亮相。
泰国王室近日公布，已故泰王普密蓬早年的逝世爱犬通丹血脉得以延续。王室早前批准以人工授精方式，诞下8只分别黑、白、棕色的小狗，并在上周日(13日)普密蓬逝世3周年当日，首次让它们亮相。
通丹不时陪伴在普密蓬(右)身旁。
通丹原本是流浪狗女，幸得普密蓬在1998年收养成为“王犬”。通丹在2015年因年老逝世，普密蓬亦于约1年后驾崩。新任泰王瓦吉拉隆功批准以人工受孕方式，为通丹延续后裔，让国民纪念父亲及通丹。
泰国农业大学利用通丹下一代的精子，人工授精方式令另2只王室狗狗怀孕，分别在6月及9月诞下小狗。该大学透露，8只犬儿都非常健康。
